We believe our customers should have a direct say in the services they get from Charter. That’s why we need you. We need your views to shape our services. If we don’t know what’s important to you, we don’t know how to give you what you want and need.
There are lots of different ways that you can get involved and have your say – and you can do as much or as little as you want. It’s not all about coming to meetings, for some people that’s fine, but we know it’s not what suits everyone. We already have a group of fantastic people who give us their time to help make a difference, but we need more, could that be you?
We’ll make sure that if you want to be involved you can, at a time that suits you and in the way that suits you. So if you want to text, email, phone, fill in a questionnaire or mail something to us, or you want to talk to us face to face, you can.
The best bit is that you can change the way you want to give us feedback at any time as your interests or circumstances change. We want to work with you to improve our services and therefore we will be as flexible as we can to suit you.
We know that everyone is different and that their interests will also be different, so we have loads of different ways you can be involved. Here are a few of them but get in touch for more details on the latest ways to have your say.
Here’s a few of them, but check with your neighbourhood manager for the latest ways to get involved.
Our projects
Tenant Mediators
We are working with the Vale Community Mediation Service to provide tenants with opportunities to train as mediators in neighbour disputes outside of their own community.
Service User Advisors
We want to develop opportunities for staff and tenants to actively listen to elements of our services to help improve them.
Contact magazine group
We want to work with tenants to make our tenant magazine something you want to read. You could help to edit the magazine, write articles or suggest hot topics.
Timebanking
We are developing a timebanking scheme which will give something back to tenants for getting involved with us, with a time voucher which can be exchanged for an activity or service.
Youth panel
We are developing a Charter wide youth panel so we can work with young people to make our services more accessible and develop ways to promote positive images of young people in their communities.
