Working for Me

The Working for Me project provides advice and support for people who are interested in working for themselves. Working for Me will provide the advice and support people need to set up their own business or social enterprise. We aim to encourage and develop people’s talent.

Electrical apprenticeships

Charter has funded the training of electrical apprentices who were employed by CW Electrical. The apprentices worked exclusively on Charter’s electrical upgrades and maintenance projects and, following four years training, successfully completed the Modern Apprenticeship qualification in electrical installation. The scheme has been so successful, Charter is funding further electrical apprenticeships, giving people the chance to learn a trade and benefit from on-the-job training.
