Reporting Repairs to your Property

From time to time we all need to have repairs carried out to our homes.

How do I Report Repairs

  • you can ring us directly on (01633) 678511
  • you can fax us direct on (01633) 256271
  • you can write to us at 11 Devon Place, Newport, NP20 4NP
  • you can e-mail us at maintenance@charterhousing.co.uk
    (routine and non-urgent repairs only - please give a contact phone number)
  • you can speak to our staff in reception or out on site

Our office hours are Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5.00pm and Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm. If you have an emergency repair outside of our office hours then please call (01633) 214222.

Repair Timescales
When will my repair be carried out?

Our contractors agree to complete the work we give them within specified deadlines depending on the priority given to the repair. Our repair priorities in working days are -

Emergency (1 day)
eg. Gas leak, no power, no water supply or burst pipes

Urgent (5 days)
eg. Reglazing, minor plumbing and heating repairs

Routine (20 days)
eg. Non-essential carpentry, roofing, plastering
