Managing your Rent Account : How to Pay your Rent

HOW TO PAY YOUR RENT

  • By Direct Debit. Telephone 01633 212375 for a form.
  • In person at Charter's Offices at 11 Devon Place, Newport between 8.30am and 5.00pm Monday to Thursday or between 8.30am and 4.30pm on a Friday. Cash, cheque, debit and credit cards accepted. Any cheques should be made payable to 'Charter Housing Association Limited'.
  • By posting a cheque to our offices at 11 Devon Place, Newport, South Wales NP20 4NP. You should include the name and address of the account to be credited and make the cheque payable to 'Charter Housing Association Limited'.
  • At any Post Office in the UK using your Charter Payment Card. You can pay by cash or cheque - cheques being made payable to 'Post Office Counters'.
  • At any location displaying the Paypoint or Payzone sign using your Charter Payment Card. Pay by cash or cheque at a number of local shops and garages that display these signs.
  • By telephone through the allpay.net IVR call centre with your debit or credit card. Ring 0870 243 6040 and follow the on-line instructions. You will need your rent payment card and your debit or credit card in order to make the payment.
  • If you claim Housing Benefit to pay your rent you can choose to have it paid direct to Charter Housing Association. Please contact your Customer Accounts Manager if you wish to do this.
  • By Standing Order through your Bank or Building Society. Telephone 01633 212375 for a form.
