Will rents have to go up to cover this?
No. Gold Service should not increase rents. It is designed to reward customers who pay their rent and look after their property and community. A Housing Association in Manchester (Irwell Valley) was the first to pilot rewards for tenants. Their experience is that for every £1 spent on rewards they save £2.

I'm on Housing Benefit and sometimes get into difficulty because of delays. Will this affect my Gold Service Membership?
No. If there is a delay with your benefit your membership will be put on hold while the problem is sorted out. Once we receive payment, we will fully backdate any due rewards. If you are able to help speed up the process, for example by ensuring you provide the Local Authority with all the information they need at the start, your full membership will be reinstated sooner.

From time to time I get into difficulties paying my rent…Does this mean I won't be able to join Gold Service?
We would hope to be able to work with you to ensure that you can join Gold Service and stay in the scheme. We want to work positively with you so that you get the benefits you qualify for. If you do get into difficulties, contact us and we will assist you.

This all seems too good to be true. What's the catch?
There's no catch. We recognise that for too long we have ignored our best customers and at times we may have taken them for granted. Gold Service seeks to address this. It also provides an incentive for those who do not keep to the terms of their tenancy agreement to change.

I pay my rent on time but don't really want to join Gold Service. What happens to me?
There is no obligation to join Gold Service but you will be missing out on a whole host of rewards. There is no membership fee; we simply believe that you deserve these benefits. If however you choose not to join, you will continue to enjoy the same service that you currently receive.

How do I enter the monthly Prize Draw?
You do not need to enter the draw, all Gold Service members are automatically included in the draw and the winner is chosen at random.
