The Forward Together Panel reviews how we work with tenants
Without listening to our tenants’ views, we can’t improve our service. Ensuring that tenants get involved in what we do is important to us at Charter, and that’s why we have the Forward Together Panel, our staff and tenant partnership group.
The Forward Together Panel meets every two months to review how Charter works with their tenants. At this month’s meeting, the Panel worked on updating the Tenant Participation Strategy, concentrating on its future aims, how we communicate with our tenants and how to get more tenants involved. The Strategy will be presented to Charter’s Board next month.
The Strategy sets out how we will involve tenants in the next year, and plans out activities and events such as our short courses.
Tenant Participation Manager, Ailsa Yeoman-Evans said: “It’s really important that tenants have the opportunity to influence the Strategy. It was hard work, as we had a lot to cover, but we had fun and it’s great to know that we are helping make a difference.”
The next meeting will take place in December, where in which the Panel will review the Tenant Participation budget, ensuring that Charter’s using resources effectively.
