Pilot scheme for teenagers

A Youth Foundation pilot scheme was launched in February, involving eight teenagers who had been excluded from school. The teenagers all showed an interest in construction and the aim of the pilot was to find them work in the community, such as painting over graffiti, repairing fences etc, they will then cost the project, tender for it and actually carry out the work with one of Leadbitter’s sub-contractors.
