Monmouthshire Financial Inclusion Partnership

Representatives from Charter’s Tenant Participation and Moneysavers teams were out in force at The Priory Centre, Abergavenny, recently taking part in the launch of the Monmouthshire Financial Inclusion Partnership. The partnership consists of Charter, Melin, Monmouthshire Housing, the Citizen’s Advice Bureau, Gateway Credit Union as well as a number of other organisations, who work across Monmouthshire to raise awareness about financial inclusion.

The partnership have also launched its new website – monmoney.net providing advice to Monmouthshire residents about debt and money matters, welfare benefits, savings, jobs and skills.

The launch event also provided an opportunity for Ailsa Yeoman Evans, Julie Tucker, Michael Rosser and Andrew Desmond to showcase their colourful, new Board Game for tenants – Count Me In - which will be used at Tenant Fun Days, offering advice and information on money matters and how tenants can participate and become involved in decisions that affect their lives, their homes and communities.
